No. Far-UVC light is invisible to the human eye. However, a krypton chloride light source has a purple glow when it is turned on.
How long does it take for the Far-UVC lamp to disinfect an area?
It depends on the distance between the lamp and the area to be disinfected. In many cases, disinfection will take from seconds to minutes. Keep in mind that the area can be occupied during disinfection, as the lamp’s Far-UVC light of 222 nm is not harmful to humans.
