Two-piece Industrial Infrared Pyrometer for Low Temperature and High Speed Applications with Laser Sighting, 0 °C to 500 °C

The Optris CT 4M pyrometer is a high speed infrared temperature sensor designed for measurements from 0 °C to 500 °C. Its mid wave infrared spectral range of 2.2 µm to 6 µm provides accurate measurements on challenging materials. It features an InAsSb detector, 30:1 optical resolution, and a fast 90 µs exposure time for reliable temperature monitoring in demanding applications.

The CT 4M includes a double laser aiming system that shows the exact measurement spot size and position, improving aiming accuracy. It provides high measurement performance with ±0.3% of reading or ±2 °C accuracy and 0.1% of reading or ±1 °C repeatability. Multiple output options are available, including 0/4–20 mA, voltage outputs, USB, RS232, RS485, relay outputs, Modbus, Profinet, and EtherNet/IP for easy system integration.

Suitable for industrial environments, the CT 4M operates in ambient temperatures up to 70 °C without cooling and can be adapted with accessories such as air purging and mounting flanges. Calibrated in Germany to PTB or NIST standards, it offers reliable and precise non-contact temperature measurement with flexible configuration options for various industrial applications.
