The Optris PI 640i G7 is a high performance infrared camera designed for glass industry research and process control. It provides 640 × 480 VGA resolution, accurate radiometric measurement, and a standard temperature range of 150°C to 900°C (calibratable up to 3000°C). Its 7.9 µm G7 spectral range is optimized for glass temperature measurement by reducing reflection and emissivity errors.

The camera features a 17 µm pixel size, interchangeable lenses, and high quality optics for clear, low distortion images. It operates at 32 Hz standard speed and up to 125 Hz high speed mode, with line scan capability for monitoring moving glass processes and replacing traditional line scanners with a more compact solution.

The PI 640i G7 works with Optris PIX Connect software for advanced thermal analysis, data recording, hot/cold spot detection, and PLC integration. With an IP67 rated rugged design, optional protective accessories, and Industrial Process Interface support, it is suitable for demanding industrial environments and continuous temperature monitoring.
