Compact Two-piece Industrial Infrared P3 Pyrometer for Thin Film Plastic Applications, 35-600°C

The Optris CTi P3 pyrometer is designed for accurate non contact temperature measurement of very thin plastic films. Its specialized 3.43 µm spectral range allows precise measurement of materials such as PE, PP, PET, PVC, and other plastics that are difficult to measure with standard infrared sensors. It operates across a temperature range of 35 °C to 600 °C with a fast 15 ms response time.

The CTi P3 features a narrow band infrared sensor that is optimized for thin plastic applications where long wave IR measurement is not suitable. The sensor head can withstand temperatures up to 85 °C without cooling, while the separate electronics box provides easy operation with programming buttons and a backlit LCD display.

The pyrometer offers flexible integration with multiple outputs and communication options, including 0/4–20 mA, 0–5 V, 0–10 V, RS485, RS232, USB, Ethernet, Modbus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP, and IO-Link. Optional accessories such as mounting forks, sighting tubes, close-focus lenses, air purge systems, and cooling jackets enhance installation flexibility and reliability in demanding industrial environments.
