The Optris CTi 3M is a high accuracy infrared thermometer designed for reliable non contact temperature measurement in demanding industrial environments. Covering a temperature range from 30 °C to 1850 °C, it is ideal for metal processing, secondary metal applications, metal oxides, and ceramic materials. Its 2.3 μm InGaAs detector reduces measurement errors caused by emissivity changes, ensuring accurate and stable performance.

With fast response times from 110 μs and a distance to spot ratio of up to 75:1, the CTi 3M provides precise measurements on small or distant targets and supports fast industrial processes. Available in different models, including the 3MXL (30–350 °C) and 3MH2 (up to 1500 °C), it offers flexibility for various temperature requirements.

The two-piece design with a compact measuring head and separate electronic box allows easy integration, configuration, and multiple interface options, including analog, digital, USB, RS485, Ethernet, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, and Profinet. Optional accessories such as mounting forks, sighting tubes, close-focus lenses, and air purge systems enhance installation flexibility and performance in challenging industrial environments.
