Autonomous Short-wavelength Thermal Camera for very hot application 950 to 2450°C

The Optris Xi 05M MeltScope is a short-wavelength infrared camera designed for accurate non-contact temperature measurement of hot molten metals, steel, and ceramics. Its short-wavelength technology reduces emissivity errors on reflective surfaces, providing more reliable and repeatable measurements than long-wave infrared cameras. With autonomous hot-spot detection, motorized focus, and a temperature range of 950°C to 2450°C, it delivers precise performance in demanding industrial applications.

Built for industrial environments, the Xi 05M is compact, waterproof, and easy to integrate into control systems via Ethernet, USB, analog outputs, and fieldbus protocols. It features a 396 × 300 pixel detector and 20 Hz imaging, with optional accessories such as water cooling and air purges for harsh conditions.

The motorized focus allows precise remote adjustment of the focal point on the target. It can also operate independently without a computer, performing internal temperature processing and hot-spot detection, and directly outputting results as analog, digital, or alarm signals.
