Submersible radar level transmitter for flooding sites

2 December 2014  |  Mining

Radar level measurements overcome most of the problems that plague ultrasonics, such as condensation, foaming, and vapours.  The GDRD 61 is a level transmitter designed to survive complete immersion, and then resume work ing as soon as the level drops below the face of the sensor.

These types of transmitters are commonly used in drainage sumps and pits, but also in sewerage pumping stations for rising mains. The Goda unit has a remote display and programming station with 10M lead, other lengths on request, and is available in two types - for 30M  and for 70M measurement.
